NY TIMES posts: "Millions of people across the Northeast found themselves without power on Sunday after an unusual autumn storm dumped record amounts of snow. In New Jersey, Public Service Electric and Gas reported on Sunday that about 271,000 of its customers had no service, most of them in Bergen, Essex, Passaic, Union and Middlesex Counties. That total was down from a peak of about 350,000."
