UPDATE: (3 days later) Our electric company reported Saturday's snowfall resulted in more damage to their infrastructure than Hurricane Irene! We have talked to several people who have been told their electricity may be out until Wednesday!!!!!
NY TIMES posts: "Millions of people across the Northeast found themselves without power on Sunday after an unusual autumn storm dumped record amounts of snow. In New Jersey, Public Service Electric and Gas reported on Sunday that about 271,000 of its customers had no service, most of them in Bergen, Essex, Passaic, Union and Middlesex Counties. That total was down from a peak of about 350,000."
Now that's a trick....and certainly NOT a treat!
