We tried our first New Jersey "diner" today at lunch with our CES Director and his family. It was owned by a Greek family so there were a few Greek dishes. Apparently, New Jersey has more diners than any other state and they run the gamut of ethnicity. The servings were HUGE and the price was SMALL. As Frank Sinatra sings, "New Jersey (diners) are my kinda place." (Huh?)(Trivia: Our CES Director's wife is the sister of our bishopric counselor in our home ward! Small world!)
